This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and transfers related to workshop registrations with Ankleherb. We aim to provide fair and transparent refund procedures while maintaining the operational viability of our educational programs. Please read this policy carefully before registering for any workshop.

1. Policy Overview

Ankleherb offers educational mental clarity workshops including Mind programs, Balance programs, single sessions, corporate bookings, and combined learning packages. This policy applies to all paid registrations made through our website, email, telephone, or in-person at our Sydney venue.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable consumer protection legislation. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL, including that services will be provided with acceptable care and skill and will be fit for their disclosed purpose.

If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund. This policy operates in addition to your statutory rights, not in place of them.

3. Standard Cancellation by Participant

3.1 Full Refund — Seven or More Days Before Session

If you cancel your registration seven (7) or more calendar days before the scheduled start date of the workshop or first session in a multi-week program, you are entitled to a full refund of the registration fee paid. No administrative fee applies to cancellations within this timeframe.

3.2 Partial Refund — Three to Six Days Before Session

If you cancel your registration between three (3) and six (6) calendar days before the scheduled start date, you are entitled to a refund of seventy-five percent (75%) of the registration fee. The remaining twenty-five percent covers administrative costs and reserved capacity.

3.3 No Refund — Less Than Three Days Before Session

Cancellations made fewer than three (3) calendar days before the scheduled start date are not eligible for a monetary refund. However, you may transfer your registration to a future session of the same program (see Section 5) subject to availability.

3.4 No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a registered session without prior cancellation notice is considered a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or transfers. If you miss a session within a multi-week program, you may request access to session materials at our discretion but are not entitled to a make-up session unless otherwise arranged.

4. Cancellation by Ankleherb

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient enrolment, facilitator unavailability, venue issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel a workshop:

  • You will receive a full refund of all fees paid, processed within fourteen (14) business days
  • Alternatively, you may transfer your registration to the next available session at no additional cost
  • We will notify you as soon as possible via email and telephone using the contact details provided at registration
  • We are not liable for any incidental costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation, unless otherwise required by law

5. Registration Transfers

You may transfer your registration to another person or to a different session date under the following conditions:

  • Transfer requests must be submitted at least three (3) calendar days before the original session date
  • Transfers to another person are permitted at no charge, provided the substitute participant meets eligibility requirements
  • Transfers to a different session date are permitted once per registration at no charge, subject to availability
  • Additional transfer requests may incur a twenty-five dollar ($25 AUD) administrative fee
  • Transfers from a higher-priced to a lower-priced session do not result in a partial refund of the price difference

6. Program-Specific Refund Terms

6.1 Six-Week Mind Program ($480 AUD)

Cancellation before the first session follows the standard timeline in Section 3. After the program begins, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for remaining unattended sessions, minus a fifty dollar ($50 AUD) administrative fee. No refunds are available after the fourth session of a six-week program.

6.2 Four-Week Balance Series ($340 AUD)

Cancellation before the first session follows the standard timeline in Section 3. After the program begins, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for remaining unattended sessions, minus a forty dollar ($40 AUD) administrative fee. No refunds are available after the third session of a four-week program.

6.3 Single Sessions and Intensives

Single session registrations ($95 AUD) and morning intensives ($120 AUD) follow the standard cancellation timeline in Section 3 without additional program-specific conditions.

6.4 Combined Learning Bundle ($820 AUD)

If you cancel the combined Mind and Balance bundle before either program begins, the standard cancellation timeline applies to the full bundle price. If one program has already commenced, the refund is calculated by treating the commenced program as a standalone registration at its individual price, with the remaining program fee refunded according to Section 3 timelines.

6.5 Corporate Bookings

Corporate workshop bookings are subject to separate terms outlined in the corporate service agreement. Standard cancellation requires fourteen (14) days notice for a full refund. Contact us at hello@ankleherb.world for corporate-specific refund terms.

7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To cancel your registration or request a refund, contact us using one of the following methods:

Refund eligibility is determined by the date we receive your cancellation request, not the date you intended to send it. We recommend using email for a clear record of your request timestamp.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days of cancellation confirmation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at registration. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method.

Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional five to ten business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it. We are not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions or payment processors.

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Digital resource library access fees when purchased separately from a workshop program
  • Administrative fees explicitly charged at the time of a transfer or late registration
  • Third-party payment processing fees that cannot be recovered
  • Workshop materials that have been physically dispatched and received by the participant

10. Disputes and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, please contact us at hello@ankleherb.world with additional details supporting your request. We will review your case and respond within ten (10) business days. If the matter remains unresolved, you may contact the NSW Fair Trading office or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for guidance on your consumer rights.

11. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, we will work with affected participants to offer rescheduled sessions, credit toward future programs, or refunds at our discretion. We will communicate available options as promptly as possible during such events.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to registrations made after the updated policy is published. Registrations made before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of registration. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
